You may well be thinking that attending your first shooting event will be quite daunting –  but remember, it’s also very exciting too!  You may also be a bit apprehensive about spending a great amount of money on a shooting outfit that you think you might not wear again – at least until you’re sure you’ll become a regular at the events! After all, you don’t want to splash out on attire that you may never use again. Why would you?

Well, this is why at Cherry Tree Country Clothing, we’ve carefully selected a range of nice quality shooting outfits that are just perfect for your first shooting event but can also be worn with style for dog walking or even going down the pub!

The Kincraig jacket is fully waterproof, breathable and features a large number of useful pockets too!  Similarly, the Kincraig waistcoat is also weather resistant and is lined with a cosy fleece backing. You’ll find that this shooting waistcoat has the advantage of being slightly longer than many other waistcoats. It’s also great to wear on its own on the warmer days.

Likwise, the Kincraig trousers are fully waterproof and breathable and are fully lined for extra comfort and warmth.  Plus, for ease of movement, they are designed with accentuated knee panels and reinforced key wear areas. A truly great pair of shooting trousers!

Oh, by the way, to complete this outfit there are also two very smart matching hats available!  You can choose either a traditional stylish flat cap or, alternatively, a cosy hunters cap with handy pull down ear warmers. You might even choose to treat yourself to both!  Each hat is fully waterproof and breathable!

The Normandie shooting jacket and trouser outfit from Percussion clothing, is very practical, comfy and stylish. If you haven’t heard of Percussion, it is a highly reputable French brand that was introduced into the UK a couple of years ago. In fact, it’s fair to say that it’s taking the shooting industry by storm!

For example, the quality, style and features of the ‘3 in 1’ Normandie shooting jacket are outstanding. This jacket is priced very competitively too! The jacket itself is fully waterproof, breathable and windproof and features an array of handy pockets and a useful roll away hood.  Plus, the styling of the jacket is just great for everyday wear too!

Similarly, the matching Normandie shooting trousers are fully waterproof and breathable. These will give you the protection you seek, along with freedom of movement when out on the field. They have been designed with 7 pockets including a knife pocket, so there’s no need to carry a man bag or cartridge bag when out and about!

The Glenmore outfit by Hoggs of Fife offers a top quality collection that gives you a more traditional yet stylish look!

Made from a soft polyester fabric, the jacket is simply great for attending a range of country sport events. It’s also ideal for popping to the pub at the end of your busy day!  This Glenmore jacket is fully waterproof, breathable and windproof and it has a polyester lining. The sizing is fairly generous too, to allow space when wearing a shooting gilet underneath.

The matching Glenmore trousers are made from the same waterproof, breathable and windproof fabric as the jacket. These trousers are coated in a rain and stain resistant coating too, for extra protection! These shooting trousers are fully lined and can either be worn as an over trouser or as trousers over a pair of long johns. The extra reinforcements on the ankle and knee areas make these trousers great for climbing over stiles or kneeling down.

The matching stylish Glenmore hunting cap completes the outfit!  Made from the same fabric as the other items in the outfit, you’ll not need to worry about any adverse weather conditions – you’ll feel warm dry and cosy in this hat!
