Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall
I would like to share some pictures I took of the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall in Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant – one of the 7 Wonders of Wales!
Pistyll Rhaeadr is located within the Berwyn Mountains of Wales, just outside of Oswestry.
The 250ft (80m) high waterfall is the tallest single drop waterfall. Located just west of Oswestry and Shrewsbury, it is a fantastic place to explore the Berwyn Mountains with many walks to suit all levels, so make sure you have your socks and walking boots with you. The country side and mountain views are spectacular and an ideal location for getting away from the hustle of everyday life.
Situated at the bottom of the waterfall is Tan y Pistyll tea room and B/B accommodation. There is plenty of parking available and a campsite nearby if you fancy exploring the area.
