Sure, it’s great to know that there’s so much choice! However, this can actually make choosing the best outdoor trousers for farmers quite time consuming and daunting – unless you know exactly what you’re looking for!
Yes, it’s easy to say that comfort, style and durability should be top of the list for farm work, but how do you really know that what you’re about to buy is going to give you the best outcome?
Whether milking, mucking out, feeding or perhaps operating farm machinery, you’ll need to know whether to go for lightweight, waxed, adjustable or maybe stretch-fabric trousers. Think carefully about pockets too! How many pockets will you need when you’re out and about on the farm or up in the fields? So, already, there’s lots to think about!
Let’s take Jim as an example. Every day he’s busy on his farm carrying out a whole range of tasks and he really doesn’t know what type of trousers to go for. He’s searched on line and has also been to his local country clothing store to seek advice. Jim simply wanted a pair of good quality, hard wearing trousers that would be best suited for all the different daily activities he pursues.
Well, here at Cherry Tree Country Clothing we stock many different styles and examples of quality outdoor trousers. So we would take time to chat with Jim to find out a bit more about the activities/type of work he’ll be involved with on his farm. Based upon what Jim tells us, we would likely recommend some of the examples below.
